Sr. Manager – Corporate Relations

Position Status:

This is basically an organizational position which is not limited by any project period. However, the candidate will be taken on one year contract initially which will be extendable based on the performance.
Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Masters/PG diploma:

Priority 1: Masters in Social Work / Masters in Business Administration with minimum of 3 years experience in CSR / Development Sector
Priority 2: Post Graduate in Social Sciences with minimum of 8 years experience in CSR / Development Sector
Priority 3: Graduate in Social Sciences with minimum of 5 years experience in Development Sector

Mandatory Skills / Competencies:

Broad understanding of the development sector and cross cutting social & economic issues
Passion for social / community development
Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English (is must) and Kannada (desirable), ability to communicate with senior management of the companies
Ability to think / plan innovative program, project – Proposal Writing expertise
Coordination – ability to work with interdisciplinary team

Computer / IT Skills:

MS Office, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point
Internet Operation

Role:

Should constantly get updated about provisions of CSR in the latest Companies Act
Should explore CSR consultation projects for developing CSR policies, strategy and plan for the corporates
Represents organization in forums like CII, NIPM etc
Interacting with companies to understand their perspective, plans and expectations from CSR
Developing proposals / terms of reference for providing CSR Consultation services to companies
Coordinating with researchers of GRAAM for conducting Community Needs Assessment and Evaluation of existing CSR programs of the company
Developing CSR plan / strategy document in correlation with the community needs and companies expectations
Updating CSR webpage, social media page providing current updates relevant to the corporates and civil society organization
